Characteristics of the Jinda 74 soybean variety
Jinda 74, a new soybean variety recently bred by Professor Li Guiquan, a soybean expert at Shanxi Agricultural University, has become one of the 3 new soybean varieties most recently approved this year by the Shanxi Provincial Crop Variety Approval Committee, thanks to its advantages of strong drought resistance, good yield performance, high resistance to mosaic virus, and great yield-increasing potential.
Jinda 74 was developed by crossing and selecting Jinda 52 and Jinda 47. It is a dual-purpose variety for both spring and summer sowing, and is especially suitable for planting in land with high fertility and ample water. Experts say that under conditions combining good seed, good methods, and good land, the yield can reach about 400 kg, making it another super-high-yield new variety in Shanxi Province.
