Mushroom High Yield: Top Dressing Is Key, Four Methods for Preparing Top Dressing Solutions
For mushrooms to achieve high yields, proper top dressing is key. Here are several methods for preparing mushroom top dressing solutions:
1. Mushroom root soup. Collect and wash the mushroom feet and broken mushrooms cut off during harvesting and processing, cut them into thin slices, add 1-1.5 kg of water per kg of material, boil for 15 minutes, take the filtered liquid and dilute with water to 10-15 kg, which can be sprayed on 30-40 sq m of mushroom beds. Using it during the peak fruiting period can make the mushroom fruiting bodies thick and plump and extend the peak fruiting period.
2. Cattle urine. Take fresh cattle urine, boil until the foam disappears, add clean water to dilute 7-8 times, spray once every 2-3 days, just enough to moisten the bed surface. If there are small mushrooms on the bed surface, spray once more with clean water after application, which can promote the growth of small mushrooms.
3. Soybean milk. Take 2 kg of soybeans, add water to soften them, then grind into slurry, filter out the residue and add 80-100 kg of clean water. It can be sprayed on 80-100 sq m of mushroom beds and can promote the small mushrooms to grow sturdy and white.
4. Carrot juice. Take 10 kg of carrots, chop them, add 15 kg of water and boil for 15 minutes, filter to obtain the juice, add water to dilute 40 times, and spray on the mushroom beds.
