How to fertilize mushrooms? These 8 steps must be mastered
During mushroom production, generally after three harvests, the nutrients in the compost decrease, the acidity rises, the vitality of the mycelium weakens, and the yield and quality decline. To achieve high quality and high yield of mushrooms, supplementary fertilization must be carried out. The specific methods are as follows:
1. Take rotted pig and cow urine, boil for 20 minutes, filter, then spray diluted with 10 to 20 times clear water, and after spraying, spray once more with clear water.
2. Take rotted and sun-dried straw, add 100 times clear water and boil into a liquid, and spray after it cools, which can make mushrooms robust.
3. When mushroom yield drops sharply, clean the bed surface, remove old roots and dead mushrooms, then crush fresh dry pig manure and cow manure, soak and compost them with clear lime water for 15 days, then add fertilizer mud equal to one third of the weight of the manure and a small amount of plant ash, mix well, spread it on the bed surface, and continue routine management.
4. Take 2.5 kg of plant ash, add 50 kg of water to soak, take the filtrate and spray, which can strengthen mushrooms and prevent mushrooms from turning red.
5. Take 0.5 kg of glucose, add 50 kg of water, spray after dissolving, which can make mushrooms thick-fleshed and thick-stemmed. If there is no glucose, white sugar can be used instead.
6. Take 250 g of salt, add 50 kg of water, and spray during the peak fruiting period, which can make the mushroom bodies white and firm.
7. Take 0.5 kg of lime, add 50 kg of water, stir and let stand, then take the clarified liquid and spray, and after spraying, spray once more with clear water. Repeat once every 6 to 7 days, which can regulate the pH of the compost and soil and promote the normal growth of mushrooms.
