Characteristics: Purple flowers, gray pubescence, oval leaves, determinate podding habit. Average growth period 111 days, plant height 75.1 cm, effective branches 3.2, effective pods per plant 45.0, seeds per plant 80.8, 100-seed weight 19.6 g. Seed coat yellow, brown hilum, round seed. Relatively strong lodging resistance, average disease resistance. Average crude protein content 42.26%, crude fat content 18.45%.

Yield performance: In 2002, participated in the summer soybean variety regional trial in the central Huang-Huai-Hai region, average yield per mu 184.37 kg, a 19.42% increase over the control Ludou 11 (highly significant); in 2003, continued trial, average yield per mu 191.34 kg, a 7.68% increase over the control Ludou 11 (highly significant); two-year regional trial average yield per mu 187.86 kg, a 13.13% increase over the control Ludou 11. Key cultivation techniques: 1. Suitable sowing time: early to mid-June; for wheat ridge intercropping in northern Henan and western Henan, sowing can be done 10 days before wheat harvest. Sowing rate 4-5 kg per mu, row spacing about 40 cm, plant spacing 13-15 cm, retaining 10,000-15,000 plants per mu. 2. Fertilizer and water management: This variety prefers fertile soil, so basal fertilizer should be increased and appropriate topdressing applied. Apply 40-50 kg calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer per mu, or 10 kg diammonium phosphate, and topdress 5 kg urea at early flowering stage; foliar spraying is also possible. This variety has good leaf drop at maturity, uniform ripening, and strong pod shattering resistance, so it can be harvested after the plants are fully mature and the seeds are thoroughly dry, to avoid premature harvest affecting appearance and quality.
