(1) Variety origin: This line was developed by the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1986 by crossing Baiqiancheng as the female parent with Chengdu Tiankan Dou as the male parent, followed by generation-by-generation directional selection. (2) Characteristics: This variety is a medium-maturing spring soybean variety, with a spring sowing growth period of about 120 days. It has a determinate podding habit, white flowers, and gray pubescence. The seeds are large (100-seed weight about 26 g), nearly round, with yellow seed coats and yellow hila. The rate of fully developed seeds is relatively high, the protein content is 43.5%, and the fat content is 20.7%. It has good yield potential, excellent quality, resistance to mosaic virus disease, and strong lodging resistance.

(3) Yield performance: It participated in the provincial regional trial (medium-maturing group) in 1995-1996. In 1996, the average yield was 175.6 kg per mu, an increase of 9.65% over the control. The two-year average yield in the provincial regional trial was 167.4 kg per mu, an increase of 15.29% over the control. In 1996, while continuing to participate in the provincial regional trial, production trials were conducted in Chengdu, Emei, and Maoxian, with an average yield of 165 kg per mu, an increase of 18.96% over Xisheng 3.

(4) Suitable planting areas: Suitable for promotion in areas of our province below 1600 m in altitude.
