(2) Characteristics: An early-maturing spring soybean variety, it can also be planted in summer and autumn. The growth period for spring sowing is about 105 days, plant height is 40 cm, it has strong virus resistance and lodging resistance, the white grain weight is about 18 g, and the seeds contain 44.4% protein and 20.2% fat.
(3) Yield performance: The three-year provincial regional trial average from 1994-1996 was 149.5 kg per mu, an increase of 26.05% over the control Gongdou No. 3. In the 1997 production trial, the average yield was 143 kg per mu, an increase of 23.17% over the control Gongdou No. 3.
(4) Cultivation points: The optimal sowing period is around Qingming, with a density of about 16,000 plants per mu; for summer sowing, 20,000 plants per mu; for autumn sowing, it is best to sow around Liqiu, with 35,000-40,000 plants per mu. Appropriately extending the field harvest period can reduce shriveled grains.
(5) Suitable planting areas: Suitable for planting in areas of our province below 1,600 m above sea level, with a wide range of adaptability.
