(2) Characteristics: The plant is about 50 cm tall, with elliptical leaves, white flowers, brown mature pods, elliptical seeds, yellow seed coats, and brown hilum, with a 100-seed weight of about 21 grams.

This variety is an early-maturing spring soybean variety with determinate podding, suitable for spring sowing, and can also be planted in summer and autumn. When spring-sown, the whole growth period is about 100 days, and it is resistant to viral diseases.

(3) Yield performance: In the 1997 provincial regional trial, the average yield was 155.1 kg per mu, an increase of 4.02% over the control; in the 1998 provincial regional trial, the average yield was 164.5 kg per mu, an increase of 44.05% over the control; the two-year average yield was 159.8 kg per mu, an increase of 21.34% over the control Gongdou No. 3. In the 1999 production trial, the yield was 182.6 kg per mu, an increase of 27.78% over the control Gongdou No. 3.

(4) Cultivation points: Suitable for sowing around Qingming, and can also be sown in summer and autumn. For spring sowing, plant about 16,000 plants per mu; for summer sowing, plant about 20,000 plants per mu; for autumn sowing (sowing around Liqiu), plant 35,000-40,000 plants per mu. Fertilization: At sowing, apply 30 kg of superphosphate per mu, plus an appropriate amount of farmyard manure. For autumn sowing, pay attention to drainage to prevent waterlogging.

(5) Suitable planting areas: Suitable for planting in soybean production areas in Sichuan below an altitude of 1,600.
