Main characteristics: plant type is tower-shaped. Plant height is about 79.7 cm; it is a medium-maturity variety with a growth period of about 132 days. The number of fruiting branches per plant is about 12.4, the node position of the first fruiting branch is about 5.9, the number of set bolls per plant is about 14.6, boll weight is about 5.7 g, seed index is about 10.8 g, lint percentage is about 40.9%, and the pre-frost boll rate is about 97.6%.

Disease resistance: in both 2002 and 2003 it was resistant to Fusarium wilt and tolerant to Verticillium wilt.

Yield performance: according to the provincial spring-sown conventional cotton regional trial results from 2002 to 2003, the average lint yields per mu were 104.3 kg and 87.1 kg respectively, and the pre-frost lint yields were 87.7 kg and 80.3 kg; in the 2003 production trial of the same group, the average lint yield per mu was 88.6 kg, and the pre-frost lint yield was 82.7 kg.

Key cultivation techniques: the suitable sowing period is April 25 to 30, and the planting density is about 3500 plants/mu. Top the plants on July 15 to 20, and remove the group tips on August 20.
