Main characteristics: the plant is tower-shaped and neat. Plant height is about 82 cm; it is a medium-maturing variety with a growth period of about 129 days. The number of fruiting branches per plant is about 12.4, the node position of the first fruiting branch is about 6.3, the number of bolls per plant is about 14.5, boll weight is about 6.1 g, seed index is about 10.8 g, lint percentage is about 40.2%, and the pre-frost boll rate is about 93.9%.

Disease resistance: according to the disease resistance identification results of the Institute of Plant Protection, Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, it was resistant to Fusarium wilt and tolerant to Verticillium wilt in both 2002 and 2003.

Yield performance: according to the results of the provincial spring-sowing conventional cotton regional trial from 2002 to 2003, the average lint yields per mu were 98.8 kg and 96.8 kg respectively, and the pre-frost lint yields were 92.3 kg and 91.8 kg; in the same group's production trial in 2003, the average lint yield per mu was 94.7 kg, and the pre-frost lint yield was 88.9 kg.

Key cultivation techniques: the best sowing date is April 25-30, and the planting density is about 3500 plants/mu. During the bud and boll stages, chemical regulation should be carried out in time; apply the first-flower fertilizer early and heavily, and apply a supplementary topping fertilizer.
