Characteristics This variety has a growth period of 128-130 days, 2 days earlier maturing than Zhongmian 41, belonging to the medium-early maturing type, with a medium plant type in tower shape, slightly compact, medium leaves, relatively dark leaf color, stems and leaves with much pubescence, relatively short fruiting nodes, strong boll setting, smooth lint flossing, easy picking, white fiber color, concentrated boll setting and boll opening, and strong early maturity, high yield, stable yield and stress resistance. Single boll weight 5.6 g, seed index 10.3 g, lint percentage 39.32%, pre-frost flower rate 92.53%, and excellent fiber quality.

Cultivation Points This variety is suitable for wheat-cotton intercropping planting in the cotton region of the Yellow-Huai River Basin. For open-field direct seeding, April 25 to 30; for plastic film mulching cotton, the sowing period of April 15 to 25 is appropriate; for wheat-cotton intercropping, the seedling raising period is April 5 to 15, and the transplanting time is May 10 to 20. The general cotton field density is 2500-3500 plants/mu, for high water and fertility cotton fields 2000-2500 plants/mu, and for cotton fields with poorer soil fertility 3000-3500 plants/mu.

Pest and Disease Control Do a good job in field pest monitoring and forecasting, timely control cotton aphids, cotton red spiders, mirids and other pests, and reduce the harm to cotton.
