What measures can prevent contamination of the substrate bags for tea tree mushroom cultivation
Contaminant organisms can appear during the cultivation of the tea tree mushroom, and the following measures should be taken to prevent contamination of the substrate bags.
First, add water to the cottonseed hulls 24 hours in advance and pile them for fermentation, raising the substrate temperature to 60-70°C to kill contaminant organisms.
Second, after adding wheat bran to the ingredients, the time from mixing the substrate and filling the bags to placing them on the stove for sterilization must not exceed 6 hours, to prevent the substrate from souring.
Third, during sterilization, maintain the temperature above 100°C for 24 hours, without letting the fire go out, adding cold water, or letting the temperature drop, so as to achieve thorough sterilization.
Fourth, when moving the substrate bags after sterilization, handle them gently to prevent the bags from being damaged.
Fifth, choose a sunny day and inoculate at night, and strictly follow aseptic procedures to prevent contaminant organisms from entering.
Sixth, during the mycelium incubation of the spawn bags, pay attention to temperature control, with 23-26°C being suitable, and take care to prevent moisture, ensure ventilation, and avoid light.
Seventh, turn and inspect the pile once every 7 days, and deal with any contaminant organism contamination and pest or disease damage promptly.
