(1) Variety origin: This variety was developed by the Cotton Research Institute of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences using the nuclear male-sterile dual-purpose line Kang A1 as the female parent, crossed with Zhong 12, a nationally promoted variety bred by the Cotton Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. (2) Characteristics: This hybrid has a whole growth period of 130-136 days, a plant height of 85-90 cm, a compact tower-shaped plant body, thick stems and branches, dark green leaf color, medium-sized leaves, good light penetration, relatively vigorous growth, strong boll-setting ability, oval bolls, thin boll hulls, and easy boll opening. The fiber is uniform with good color, the lint percentage is 41-43%, the single boll weight is 5-6 g,

(2) Characteristics: This hybrid has a whole growth period of 130-136 days, a plant height of 85-90 cm, a compact tower-shaped plant body, thick stems and branches, dark green leaf color, medium-sized leaves, good light penetration, relatively vigorous growth, strong boll-setting ability, oval bolls, thin boll hulls, and easy boll opening. The fiber is uniform with good color, the lint percentage is 41-43%, the single boll weight is 5-6 g, the lint index is 6.8-7.4 g, the seed index is 9.0-9.8 g, the fiber length is 29.5-30.5 mm, the Micronaire value is 4.29, and the specific strength is 20.78 g/tex; resistance identification results: Fusarium wilt index 12.8-15.9; Verticillium wilt index 30.68-33.7, making it a variety resistant to Fusarium wilt and tolerant to Verticillium wilt. This combination significantly increases yield compared with the control, and is resistant to Fusarium wilt and tolerant to Verticillium wilt, with excellent fiber quality and relatively high yields in propagation and seed production.

(3) Yield performance: In the two-year provincial regional trial from 1993-1994, the average lint yield per mu was 81.94 kg, an increase of 9.92% over the control Chuan 73-27; in the 1995 provincial production trial, the average lint yield per mu was 104.42 kg, an increase of 18.03% over the control Chuan 73-23.

(4) Suitable planting areas: Suitable for planting in the cotton region of the Yangtze River Basin and some cotton regions of the Yellow River Basin.
