How to kill insects and disinfect the production environment for edible fungi
With the development of edible fungus cultivation, diseases occur frequently in edible fungus production, accompanied by cross-infection, making continuous production increasingly difficult and causing great losses to mushroom farmers. Therefore, doing a good job of disinfecting the production environment is crucial to the success of edible fungus cultivation. 1. Take disinfection and sterilization measures in the production area: clean up the sanitation outside the cultivation shed, including around the work site; strictly clean up stables and latrines, garbage, etc., especially thoroughly clean up contaminated fungus bags and spent mushroom substrate waste, and spray a mixed solution of high-concentration carbendazim and phoxim, etc. for sterilization and insect killing. Where the environment is poor, treat continuously twice.
2. Disinfection treatment of new mushroom sheds. In the shed, drugs such as Baibing Quwuzong and phoxim can be used. The usual dosage is 1 bag of Baibing Quwuzong mixed with 50 grams of phoxim, sprayed over about 30 sq m, on the ground, walls, and columns, etc., then seal the mushroom shed, roll up the straw mats to sun the shed, and after sealing for 2 days, bags can be brought in for spawn running or fruiting; for preventive medication during spawn running and fruiting, spray mushroom disease-killing agent or Baibing Quwuzong about once every 5 days, but be careful not to spray directly on the fruiting bodies.
3. Disinfection treatment of old mushroom sheds. Mushroom sheds that have been used continuously for many years inevitably contain a considerable number of contaminating microorganisms, pathogen spores, and insect pests in the shed. Therefore, thorough disinfection treatment is very necessary. First, use concentrated limewater to brush and disinfect the whole area, then, according to the drug ratio of 1 bag of Baibing Quwuzong mixed with 40 grams of phoxim, spray about 20 sq m, then seal the mushroom shed, roll up the straw mats to sun the shed, and after sealing for 2 days, apply the drug again and continue to keep the shed closed and sunlit. After 2 to 7 days, bags can be brought in for spawn running, or for each cubic meter of space, use 15 milliliters of formaldehyde mixed with 10 milliliters of dichlorvos for fumigation.
