Innovation in spawn-production materials simplified. Traditionally and conventionally, potato, glucose, agar and the like are used as materials, mixed into PDA medium for inoculating mother spawn. The innovation is to use any one of wheat grains, grain kernels, corn kernels or tree branches as the material, supplemented by coating with a spawn coating agent to make a full-nutrition, high-nitrogen universal spawn medium. This medium can be used not only for inoculating mother spawn, but also for inoculating stock spawn and cultivation spawn, and the materials are easy to source, saving money and being practical. The material cost for one tube of mother spawn medium is only 3 fen; the material cost for one bottle of stock spawn or one bottle of cultivation spawn

The material cost for one tube of mother spawn medium is only 3 fen; the material cost for one bottle of stock spawn or one bottle of cultivation spawn is only about 2 jiao. Innovation in sterilization method simplified. The sterilization method of putting mother spawn and stock spawn medium into an autoclave and holding it for 30-40 minutes under a steam pressure of 21.2 kg per cm is innovated to putting it into a Supor household pressure cooker and holding it for 40-50 minutes when steam sprays from the pressure-limiting valve hole, then removing it 10 minutes after removing from the heat. Innovation in normal-pressure equipment simplified. The sterilization equipment of putting cultivation spawn medium into a normal-pressure sterilizer (earth steamer) for 8-10 hours of sterilization is innovated to putting it into a space sterilization bag (self-made, about 30 yuan, can hold 500-800 bottles per bag) for 3-4 hours of sterilization. Innovation in inoculation method simplified. The method of disinfecting and sterilizing with formaldehyde, potassium permanganate and other chemicals in an inoculation box or inoculation room and then supplementing with an alcohol lamp flame to carry out enclosed inoculation is innovated to using an open-type mushroom sterile inoculator, requiring no electricity, no chemicals, no alcohol, and no disinfection or sterilization, directly and randomly carrying out open inoculation and transplanting of various types of edible fungi, with a finished-product rate exceeding 99%. Innovation in cooked-material spawn production simplified. The cultivation spawn of edible fungi such as oyster mushroom, Phoenix mushroom, pink oyster mushroom, shaggy ink cap mushroom and golden oyster mushroom is inoculated and cultured using cooked material that has been steam-sterilized in a normal-pressure cooker. The innovation is to directly bag and inoculate raw material for production. After loading the material, a ventilation hole is made through the middle to form a through passage, and full-nutrition high-nitrogen stock spawn is inoculated (spawn amount 15%) and cultured at a suitable temperature. Through simplification and innovation, the series of equipment, materials, chemicals and supplies required for traditional spawn production are eliminated, saving thousands of yuan in investment. In particular, open inoculation avoids the contamination of mycelium by disinfecting chemicals and the harm to operators and environmental pollution; the produced spawn has particularly strong resistance, can withstand a high temperature of 40°C and a low temperature of -25°C, and has a 100% success rate when used for propagation, inoculation and cultivation. The spawn-production cycle is shortened from the original 30-40 days to 8-10 days.
