After spring tea harvesting is finished, summer tea garden management work should be done promptly. 1. Fertilize in time. Apply 15-20 kg of urea per mu, or 25 kg of Zhongcha No. 1 fertilizer. Do not apply compound fertilizer with a high proportion of phosphorus and potassium, otherwise it will accelerate the reproductive growth of tea plants. During midsummer, carry out foliar topdressing. 2. Cultivate and weed. After June, apply chemical weed control once every 25 days. After spring tea harvesting is finished, summer tea garden management work should be done promptly.

1. Fertilize in time. Apply 15-20 kg of urea per mu, or 25 kg of Zhongcha No. 1 fertilizer. Do not apply compound fertilizer with a high proportion of phosphorus and potassium,

otherwise it will accelerate the reproductive growth of tea plants. During midsummer, carry out foliar topdressing.

2. Cultivate and weed. After June, apply chemical weed control once every 25 days. Commonly used herbicides include 10% glyphosate and 25% paraquat aqueous solution, etc. In July, deep-plow the tea garden once, which can both turn the weeds between rows into the soil to mature the soil and cut off soil capillaries to maintain soil moisture.

3. Prune according to the condition of the trees. Decide whether to prune based on the growth condition of the tea plants. Pruning work is mostly carried out from late month to early month. Fertilize promptly after pruning: apply 250 kg of cake fertilizer and 20-25 kg of urea per mu, or apply decomposed human and livestock manure, to promote early sprouting of tea plants.

4. Prevent and control diseases and pests. In summer, temperatures are high and humidity increases, so tea plant diseases and pests such as tea tussock moth, tea geometrid, annulata leaf spot, anthracnose, and bud blight are prone to occur and should be controlled promptly. Spray 10 ml of Tianwangxing emulsion per mu mixed with 50 kg of water to effectively control tea tussock moth and tea geometrid. Spraying 10 g of 25% diflubenzuron suspension concentrate per mu mixed with 50 kg of water can also effectively control the above pests. Spraying 65% mancozeb wettable powder at 500 times dilution, or 40% captan wettable powder at 600 times dilution, can effectively control banded sclerotial blight, anthracnose, white star disease, and annulata leaf spot. Spraying 40% Duofu mixed powder at 1000 times dilution has a good effect on controlling bud blight.
