How should shiitake mushroom cultivation be managed? Please advise. The quality of shiitake mushroom management directly affects yield and economic returns, and good cultivation management is a key part of shiitake mushroom production. Two cultivation methods can be used: indoor and outdoor. 1. Indoor spawn-running management. (1) Reduce the number of shiitake bags indoors and the number of bag layers as much as possible. Stack two bags in a cross pattern, no more than 5 layers high, and keep a distance of more than 20 cm between stacks to facilitate ventilation and heat dissipation. (2) Build a shade canopy outside the windows so that sunlight does not shine directly onto the windows or into the room. (3) In hot weather, close doors and windows at 7 a.m. to prevent outside hot air from entering the room, and open all vents in the evening for ventilation and air exchange.

(3) In hot weather, close doors and windows at 7 a.m. to prevent outside hot air from entering the room, and open all vents in the evening for ventilation and air exchange.

2. Outdoor mushroom shed management. (1) The mushroom shed should be about 3.5 m high with double-layer shading. The first shading layer should be about 10 cm thick, and the second shading layer should be 1 m above the top of the first shading layer, covered with double-layer shade netting. Cover both ends of the mushroom shed tightly with straw curtains, and build a 1.5 m long extended shade canopy to help ease hot air flows. (2) Reduce the number of shiitake bag layers in the shed as much as possible. Stack two bags in a cross pattern, no more than 5 layers high, and keep a distance of more than 20 cm between stacks. (3) Keep the temperature inside the mushroom shed below 28°C. In hot weather, spray water on the outside of the shed roof. Dig drainage ditches outside the shed and pay attention to drainage. (4) After 7 a.m., shade the mushroom shed tightly, and in the evening open the surroundings of the shed for ventilation and heat dissipation.

3. Strictly control humidity. The mushroom shed or indoor area should be kept dry and well ventilated, with humidity controlled at 50%-60%.
