Can save on pesticide use by using new technologies

Low-volume spraying technology

This means that the amount of pesticide applied per unit area remains unchanged, the pesticide concentrate is slightly diluted, and the amount of water used is equivalent to 1/5-1/10 of that used in conventional spraying technology. This technology improves work efficiency and is widely used in greenhouses and mountainous areas.

Electrostatic spraying technology

Through a high-voltage electrostatic generator, the droplets are given an electric charge when sprayed, and the deposition of pesticide droplets on the leaf surface increases significantly, which can raise the effective utilization rate of pesticides to 90%.

Pelletized pesticide application technology

For highly water-soluble pesticides used in paddy fields, pelletized pesticide application technology can be used. It is only necessary to evenly scatter the pellets in the field, which increases work efficiency more than tenfold, and there is no pesticide drift, so neighboring crops are not polluted.

Circulating spraying technology

Conventional spraying equipment is redesigned and modified, and a pesticide recovery device is installed on the opposite side of the spraying component, so that the pesticide liquid that has not been deposited on the target plants is collected and pumped back into the pesticide tank for recycling, which can greatly increase the effective utilization rate of pesticides.

Pesticide roller smearing technology

It is mainly used for systemic herbicides. The pesticide liquid seeps out from the surface of the pesticide roller (a roller applicator made of foam material that can absorb the pesticide liquid), and it only needs to contact the upper leaves of the weeds to be effective. This method can apply almost all of the pesticide to the surface of the target plants, and there will be no splashing or dripping of the pesticide liquid.

Application of computer technology

The United States has already applied a computer control system to orchard sprayers. This system uses ultrasonic sensors to determine the shape of fruit trees, and the computer control system automatically adjusts the pesticide spraying characteristics at all times according to changes in the shape of the fruit trees. This technology greatly improves the effective utilization rate of pesticides and represents the direction of pesticide application technology.

All of the above technologies can greatly reduce pesticide use, can save 50%-95% of pesticide use, and can also greatly reduce or basically eliminate the possibility of pesticides being sprayed onto non-target plants, thereby significantly reducing environmental pollution.
