What diseases does carbendazim mainly control? A detailed explanation of its control range

Carbendazim is a low-toxicity, high-efficiency, broad-spectrum systemic fungicide, with the scientific name benzimidazole No. 44. The pure product is a white crystalline solid, and the technical product is a brown powder. It can control many fungal flower diseases caused by various Ascomycetes and Deuteromycetes. Carbendazim can be used for foliar spraying, seed treatment and soil treatment, etc. The editor of Qiannong Network will briefly introduce to you what diseases carbendazim mainly controls!
Vegetable diseases mainly controlled by carbendazim
1. To control gray mold of Welsh onion and Chinese chives, spray with a 300-fold dilution of 50% wettable powder; to control sclerotinia disease of eggplant and cucumber, anthracnose of cucurbits and kidney bean, and powdery mildew of pea, spray with a 500-fold dilution of 50% wettable powder; to control sclerotinia disease of cruciferous vegetables, tomato, lettuce and kidney bean, and gray mold of tomato, cucumber and kidney bean, spray with a 600-800 fold dilution of 50% wettable powder; to control white spot disease of cruciferous vegetables, coal mold of cowpea, and early blight (leaf spot) of celery, spray with a 700-800 fold dilution of 50% wettable powder. For all the above sprays, apply the first treatment at the early stage of disease onset, then spray once every 7-10 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprays.
2. To control fusarium wilt of tomato, dress seeds with 0.3-0.5% of the seed weight; to control fusarium wilt of kidney bean, dress seeds with 0.5% of the seed weight, or soak seeds with a 60-120 fold dilution for 12-24 hours.
3. To control fusarium wilt of cucumber and tomato, and verticillium wilt of eggplant, drench the roots with a 500-fold dilution of 50% wettable powder, 0.3-0.5 kg per plant; in severely affected plots, drench a second time after an interval of 10 days.
Fruit tree diseases mainly controlled by carbendazim
1. At the bud break stage and after petal fall of pear trees, spray once each with a 500-fold dilution of 50% wettable powder, then spray once every 7-10 days thereafter, for 2-3 consecutive sprays, to control pear scab.
2. Using a 500-800 fold dilution of 50% wettable powder, start spraying from the early stage of disease onset on apple trees, then spray again after 7-10 days, to control apple brown spot.
3. From after grape leaf unfolding to before fruit coloring, spray every 10-15 days with a 500-1000 fold dilution of 50% wettable powder, giving good control results against grape black pox, white rot and anthracnose.
Medicinal plant diseases mainly controlled by carbendazim
1. At the early stage of disease onset, spray or drench with a 600-800 fold dilution of 50% wettable powder to control leaf rot of Panax notoginseng, verticillium wilt of Datura, root rot of Ligusticum chuanxiong, root rot and damping-off of Atractylodes macrocephala, fusarium wilt of Chinese yam, root rot of Astragalus, root rot of licorice, root rot of goji, rust rot, damping-off and seedling blight of ginseng, and fusarium wilt and rot of Hylocereus undatus, etc.
2. Spraying: generally use a 600-1000 fold dilution of 50% wettable powder, starting application at the early stage of disease onset, spraying once every 7-10 days, to control anthracnose of Panax notoginseng, aspergillus disease of Polygonatum odoratum, leaf spot of Scrophularia ningpoensis, sclerotinia disease of Codonopsis pilosula, sclerotinia disease of bergamot, anthracnose of Ophiopogon japonicus, ring spot of white peony, rot (fusarium wilt) of saffron, anthracnose of Hylocereus undatus, stem rot of vanilla, etc.
3. To control anthracnose of Hylocereus undatus, soak the stem joints used as propagation material in an 800-fold dilution of 50% wettable powder for 10 minutes before planting. Or spray, and plant after the solution dries. To control rust rot of ginseng, before transplanting ginseng seedlings, soak the seedlings in a 500-fold dilution of 50% wettable powder for 8-15 minutes, and plant after the seedlings are air-dried.
