Which herbicides can be used after wheat emerges? Based on experience with chemical weed control in wheat fields, different chemical herbicides should be selected according to the seedling condition of different wheat plants and the different subsequent crops. The herbicides available for selection include the following:

6.9% Puma suspension concentrate or 10% Puma emulsifiable concentrate

It can control many kinds of monocotyledonous weeds. Use 40—80 ml of 6.9% Puma suspension concentrate per mu, or 30—50 ml of 10% Puma emulsifiable concentrate, diluted in 30 kg of water for spraying. The best spraying time is when wheat is at the 3—5 leaf stage.

Baijia mixture

It can control many kinds of broadleaf weeds, especially difficult-to-control weeds such as catchweed bedstraw and spring smartweed. Use 10—12 ml of 48% Banvel aqueous solution per mu, plus 125—150 ml of 20% MCPA aqueous solution, diluted in 30 kg of water for spraying. The spraying time is from the 3-leaf stage of wheat to before jointing. This mixture should only be applied to crops followed by rice.

75% Express dry suspension concentrate

It can control many kinds of broadleaf weeds. Use 1—2 g per mu, diluted in 30 kg of water for spraying. The best spraying time is when wheat is at the 3—5 leaf stage.

20% Starane emulsifiable concentrate

It can control many kinds of broadleaf weeds, and is especially effective against difficult-to-control weeds such as field bindweed. Use 60—100 ml per mu, diluted in 20 kg of water for spraying. The best spraying time is when wheat is at the 3—5 leaf stage.

Jiabenzene mixture

It can control many kinds of broadleaf weeds. Use 125 ml of 20% MCPA aqueous solution plus 100 ml of 48% bentazone aqueous solution per mu, diluted in 30 kg of water for spraying. The best spraying time is after wheat tillering and before jointing. This mixture should only be applied to crops followed by rice.

To improve the effect of herbicides on the main weeds in wheat fields, the following points should be noted in the use of ecological conditions: first, check the soil moisture; when moisture is insufficient, appropriately increase the amount of water for dilution, and do not apply the pesticide when the soil is short of moisture; second, choose sunny weather for application; third, choose to apply when the temperature is around 20°C; fourth, choose windless or breezy weather for application to prevent phytotoxicity to surrounding crops.
