How to reuse enoki mushroom waste? Practical methods shared

Mushroom Cultivation 0 views
During the spawn-running period, enoki mushrooms (Flammulina filiformis) often show abnormal phenomena due to improper management and other reasons. The causes and preventive measures for the main problems reported by mushroom growers are introduced below for reference. 1. Spawn blocks fail to germinate. After inoculation, the spawn does not germinate, and the mycelium turns yellow and withers. Causes: (1) The spawn has been stored for too long...
The raw materials for enoki mushrooms are nutrient-rich, containing 20% wheat bran, 10% cornmeal, and other cellulose, polysaccharides, etc. After the mushrooms have been harvested, these materials, under the action of beneficial bacteria, can be decomposed to form a high-protein biological organic fertilizer, which works very well as a high-quality base fertilizer used in vegetable production.
Enoki mushroom waste used as a base fertilizer can be spread directly on the ground of a greenhouse and then turned into the soil with a rotary tiller. However, be careful not to spread it too thickly; generally the thickness should not exceed 30 cm, to avoid releasing a large amount of heat after watering, which can burn the seedlings.
In addition, to further increase the content of beneficial microorganisms in the enoki mushroom waste, EM bacteria can also be added.
