How should mushrooms be fertilized after planting? Please explain

Mushroom growth requires relatively more nutrients. If nutrients cannot be supplied in time, the fruiting bodies will grow poorly, and especially in the later stage, premature senescence may also occur. Especially when the compost quality is poor, with little manure and much straw, and the casing layer is thin, this will significantly affect yield and quality. Therefore, in the later stage of mushroom growth, timely and appropriate topdressing is beneficial for improving yield and quality.
However, topdressing mushrooms can only play an auxiliary role. Attention must be paid to the effect, to prevent the breeding of contaminating fungi caused by improper topdressing. In addition, the concentration and amount of topdressing must be controlled; too high a concentration or too large an amount is unfavorable to mushroom growth.
Topdressing is generally carried out after the third flush of mushrooms is harvested, until the fruiting bodies of the next flush grow to the size of a soybean. After that, before harvest, topdressing is generally reduced or not applied. When topdressing mushrooms, pay attention to the following five aspects:
1. Reasonable amount. Follow the principle of "eat small meals more often"; otherwise, it will hinder the normal growth of the mycelium.
2. Appropriate timing. The purpose of topdressing is to provide nutrients for the propagation of the mycelium and the maturation of the fruiting bodies. Therefore, in terms of timing, it can be carried out after harvesting 2 to 3 flushes of mushrooms.
3. Choose fertilizer quality. It is best to select multiple fertilizers for alternate application, and it is especially necessary to alternately apply certain inorganic fertilizers with relatively single nutrients.
4. Eliminate sources of disease. Liquid fertilizer must not contain insect eggs or pathogens. The barnyard manure or manure slurry used must be fermented or decomposed, boiled, and disinfected to avoid the breeding of contaminating fungi and the occurrence of pests and diseases.
5. Coordinate fertilizer and management. Topdressing needs to be coordinated with other cultivation measures, and improving the quality of the compost must not be overlooked. Only by appropriately topdressing on the basis of a well-prepared compost can mushrooms achieve a better harvest.
