What should be noted when growing mushrooms? Please explain

The following aspects should be noted when growing mushrooms:
Pre-wetting must be thorough: the rice straw should be fully soaked to facilitate fermentation. Straw that has not been fully soaked needs a large amount of water added when it is turned. If the water cannot be replenished before the second turning, it will be very difficult to replenish it later, and this will affect the growth of the mycelium.

Turning must be even: when turning the pile, follow the principle of "raw material in the middle, cooked material on both sides; the middle goes to the two ends, and the two ends go to the middle." If this principle is not followed when turning, the compost will ferment unevenly and the purpose of turning will not be achieved.

The soil collected must meet the requirements: some farmers use untreated garden soil for casing, and some also add incompletely decomposed cow manure. Such soil often carries a large number of pathogens and insect eggs, which easily causes various diseases and brings losses to mushroom farmers.

Do not add urea when casing: new farmers habitually equate growing mushrooms with growing other crops and add urea when casing, which causes the ammonia smell to be too strong and leads to the death of the mycelium.

Do not spray "closing water": spraying "closing water" during the early high-temperature period of mushroom cultivation will create a high-humidity environment, causing mycelium to emerge, form a mycelial mat, and small mushrooms to die; spraying "closing water" in the later period easily causes mycelial degeneration and premature aging.

Disease prevention must be timely: some farmers lack basic knowledge of identifying and controlling pests and diseases, and often begin control only when pests and diseases are already severe, thus missing the best control period and causing serious reductions in mushroom yield.
