The diseases that need to be prevented and controlled in white fungus cultivation are:
    1. Powdery mildew  also called white rot, the pathogen is Acremonium. Control methods: strengthen ventilation and reduce humidity in the mushroom house; when young fungi appear, spray lime-sulfur mixture, and harvest early, scrape off with a sharp knife including the roots, the fungus base can be smeared with 4% carbolic acid solution, and fumigated with 50% mildew preservative powder in the evening.

    2. Shrinking disease  the pathogen is Fusarium solani. Control methods: sun-dry the raw materials, the water content of the mixture should not be too high at 60%; before uncovering the cloth at the hole openings, spray with 50% dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate diluted 1000 times for sterilization; after cutting the film and expanding the holes, the space humidity should not exceed 80%; when it occurs at the young fungus stage, spray lime supernatant at pH 8; at the mature fungus stage, harvest early, and soak and wash with 5% lime water before processing and drying.

    3. Black base  Control methods: keep the spawn-running culture preferably not exceeding 28°C, open the holes and cut the film to expand the holes at the right time to increase oxygen, and promote normal metabolism of the mycelium; at the young fungus stage, spraying water should be less and frequent, not excessive, to prevent water accumulation beside the fungus base: at the same time, pay attention to ventilation and air exchange.

    4. Rotten fungus  Control methods: prevent the culture medium from turning acidic, pay attention to heat dissipation after sterilizing the bags, and prevent excessive temperature during spawn-running culture. At the long fungus stage, control the temperature at 23-25°C, ventilate in time, spray an appropriate amount of water, and keep the relative humidity of the space between 85-95%. If rotten fungus is found at the young fungus stage, remove it and dig out the base in time, wipe with lime water, then spray with 100% thiophanate-methyl 1000 solution for control; if the mature fungus rots, harvest early, and smear with 25% thiram diluted 1500 times to control the spread of the pathogen.
