For growing wood ear mushrooms, you can refer to the following methods to control contaminant fungi and pests:

1. Cultivation site: choose a spot facing the sun, sheltered from the wind, with good ventilation and convenient drainage. The site should be cleaned and disinfected regularly; you can spray lime powder, 200x dichlorvos or trichlorfon for disinfection.

2. Strengthen management: according to the temperature, humidity and light requirements of each stage, create suitable environmental conditions that favor the growth and development of the mycelium and do not favor the reproduction of contaminant fungi.

3. Pest and disease control: mushroom logs infected by contaminant fungi should have the affected part cut away promptly, then apply lime (1:100 solution) or tuijunte (1:100 solution) to the wound; for pest control, you can use pyrethrum, the root of sinomenium acutum, tripterygium wilfordii, lycoris radiata and other non-residual traditional pesticides, as well as wettable tetradifon (1000x) and malathion (1000x).
