King oyster mushroom bags are seriously contaminated by Neurospora mold - what is the cause? How to prevent it?

The causes and control methods for serious Neurospora mold contamination of king oyster mushroom bags are as follows:
    1. High water content makes contamination easy; the water content you mentioned is basically suitable, keep it at around 60%.
    2. Using cotton plugs at the bag mouths, which have high water content and are moist, easily causes contamination. This may be the main reason your bags are contaminated by Neurospora mold. From now on, you should switch to matching plastic neck rings, which can greatly reduce the contamination rate.
    3. Control the micropores in the plastic bags, and the bags should be handled gently.
    4. Your incubation room temperature is set at 24 degrees, which is on the high side. It should be controlled at 20-22 degrees.
    5. Insufficient ventilation and air exchange in your incubation room is also an important cause of your bag contamination. You should ventilate for about 10 minutes every hour.
    6. Before placing the bags into the incubation room, or during the incubation process, you should frequently fumigate and disinfect with Bijieshi brand chlorine dioxide disinfectant, using 0.25g per sq m; when Neurospora mold is severe, use 0.8g per sq m, to control the contamination and spread of Neurospora mold.
