Oyster Mushroom Cultivation Techniques: What Are the Methods to Increase Oyster Mushroom Yield?

Mushroom Cultivation 0 views
What cultivation methods can increase oyster mushroom yield? We also hope friends can offer guidance. To increase oyster mushroom yield in cultivation, day-to-day management needs to be strengthened. Below are four methods that can increase oyster mushroom yield (for everyone's reference). Oyster mushroom yield increase method one, adding nutrient solution: After the first flush of mushrooms is harvested, soak the fungus bags in nutrient water containing 0.1% urea and 3% white sugar for about 10 hours, so they can absorb a large amount of water, and the second flush of mushrooms will form quickly; then use a water injector to inject nutrient solution (vitamin B1, 20 mg, magnesium sulfate 20 g, boric acid 5 g, zinc sulfate 10 g, urea 25 g, cold boiled water 50 kg), reduce humidity and keep warm for 7 days, and the second flush of mushrooms will grow smoothly.

To increase oyster mushroom yield in cultivation, day-to-day management needs to be strengthened. Below are four methods that can increase oyster mushroom yield (for everyone's reference).

Oyster mushroom yield increase method one, adding nutrient solution:
After the first flush of mushrooms is harvested, soak the fungus bags in nutrient water containing 0.1% urea and 3% white sugar for about 10 hours, so they can absorb a large amount of water, and the second flush of mushrooms will form quickly; then use a water injector to inject nutrient solution (vitamin B1, 20 mg, magnesium sulfate 20 g, boric acid 5 g, zinc sulfate 10 g, urea 25 g, cold boiled water 50 kg), reduce humidity and keep warm for 7 days, and the second flush of mushrooms will grow smoothly.

Or break up the mycelial skin at both ends of the fungus bag once, stand it upside down on the ground, and pour enough nutrient solution water (vitamin B1, 50. mg, magnesium sulfate 25 g, potassium dihydrogen phosphate 30 g, cold boiled water 50 kg) once; after 2-3 days, lay it flat and stack it 3-4 thousand layers, then manage as usual.

Method two, wall-style casing soil for moisture retention on fungus logs:
Indoors or in a shed, lay a 15-20 cm thick earth ridge lengthwise and crosswise according to the length of the fungus bags, place the fully colonized fungus logs with the plastic bags removed flat and neatly on the earth ridge; after each layer of fungus logs is laid, cover with 3-4 cm thick soil, spray water on both sides of the soil and smooth it with a trowel.

Following this, stack another 6-8 layers, and the topmost layer should still be covered with soil and smoothed. After the wall is made, spray a heavy watering once so the casing soil absorbs enough water; afterward spray water every day to keep the casing soil moist, and manage mushroom production as usual. The biological efficiency can be increased by 50%-100%.

Method three, covering the bag opening with nutrient soil for moisture retention:
The nutrient soil formula is: fertile soil 45 kg, plant ash 5 kg, water 60%. Put 2-3 cm thick nutrient soil into each end of the bag. After filling the bags, use a sewing needle to poke holes at the inoculation site every 5 mm for microporous aeration to colonize the mycelium.
During the mushroom production period, spray water 1-2 times a day, and manage the rest as usual. The biological efficiency can be increased by about 50%.

Method four, two rounds of sunlit bed casing soil for moisture retention:
After bag-cultivated oyster mushrooms have finished three flushes, remove the bags and place them in the sun to dry for 1-2 days, so the surface of the fungus logs forms a skin, which helps resist diseases and pests and inhibits excessive formation of fruiting bodies.
Then use a sterilized kitchen knife to cut them lengthwise into two halves, with the cut side facing up, arrange them tightly on the sunlit bed, fill the gaps between bags with fine sand, then cover with 2-3 cm of fine soil, and finally fill with an aqueous solution added with superphosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and white sugar, in a ratio of 2:0.2:1:100, then cover with plastic film to colonize the mycelium, and manage as usual. The biological efficiency can be increased by more than 80%.
