What harm does black fungus streaming ear disease cause? How to prevent and control black fungus streaming ear disease? Is there any netizen who can help explainBlack fungus streaming ear disease is a pest and disease that is very easily contracted during the process of cultivating black fungus. Zhongdi Network has compiled the harm and prevention and control methods of black fungus streaming ear disease, listed below for netizens' reference.
Harm of black fungus streaming ear disease:
Once the fungus is infected with streaming ear disease, the yield is reduced in mild cases and totally lost in severe cases, seriously affecting the economic benefits of mushroom farmers.
When streaming ear disease occurs in the fungus, the affected ear pieces are light yellow to coffee-colored in the early stage, with a sticky surface and a fishy odor, and in the later stage the entire cluster of fungus rots. From the perspective of the cause, streaming ear is the result of the combined action of nematodes, bacteria and protozoa, among which nematodes are the main cause of streaming ear.
Prevention and control measures for black fungus streaming ear disease:
Measure 1. Cool down in time when the shed temperature is high:
Hang wet curtains at the windows, spray water to cool down, open doors and windows at night for ventilation and cooling, and control the temperature within 30°C as much as possible. Under such temperature conditions, not only does the fungus produce ears quickly, produce ears evenly, open up well and have proper color, but the growth and reproduction of nematodes are also somewhat inhibited. If the temperature exceeds 30°C, nematode reproduction speeds up and streaming ear is likely to occur.
Measure 2. Drainage of the black fungus cultivation site:
The ear shed site should have a certain slope, and the surface soil is best sandy soil to facilitate water seepage.
Measure 3. Use clean water sources in the production process:
The water source should be clean and hygienic; clean deep well water is best as a water source. This is because poor-quality water will carry pathogens, thereby causing the fungus to become diseased.
Measure 4. Strengthen the management of temperature and humidity at each stage:
The fungus has different requirements for temperature, humidity and ventilation at different growth stages. During the primordium formation stage of the fungus, maintain the relative humidity at about 80% and provide moderate ventilation.
During the primordium differentiation and formation stage, the coral-like ear buds are quite tender, so the relative humidity should not be too high; keeping it at 80%-90% is sufficient.
During the fruiting body growth stage, to promote rapid growth of the ear pieces, increase ventilation and control the relative humidity at 90%-95%. When the fruiting body ear pieces are fully unfolded, the edges become thin, the ear base shrinks, and they are eighty percent mature, harvesting begins.
Measure 5. Prevention and control methods:
If a small amount of streaming ear occurs, first remove the streaming ears, then spray the fungus with 1%-2% salt water, and at the same time spray the ground with 5% lime water to control the further spread of nematodes and bacteria.
