How are plant growth regulators applied?

Plant growth regulators are regulatory substances within living organisms, and four aspects must be noted when using them: First, do not use them as a substitute for fertilizer: that is, they cannot replace fertilizer, water, or other agricultural measures. Even promoting-type regulators can only exert their effect under conditions of sufficient fertilizer and water. Second, do not arbitrarily change the concentration: crops have relatively strict requirements for the concentration of plant growth regulators. If the concentration is too high, it will cause leaves to become thick and brittle, deformed leaves to wither and drop, and even the entire plant to die; if the concentration is too low, the desired effect will not be achieved. Third, pay attention to timely application: the use of plant growth regulators should be based on their type, climatic conditions, duration of efficacy, and cultivation needs, choosing the best timing of application to avoid unnecessary input. Fourth, do not mix them at will: whether several plant growth regulators are mixed together or mixed with other pesticides and fertilizers, the decision on whether it is feasible must be based on a full understanding of the enhancing or antagonistic effects between the mixed pesticides; do not mix them at will.
