What are the precautions for using greenhouse film? The structural design should be reasonable

Greenhouse film
The main function of greenhouse film is to control the temperature, light and humidity inside the greenhouse and to prevent the influence of the external environment. Therefore, when choosing greenhouse film, the main considerations should be its light transmittance, heat and moisture retention, and service life.
1. Film installation technique: PE three-layer composite weather-resistant functional film and PVC anti-drip weather-resistant dust-proof film have an inner and outer side, and the film should be installed according to the inner and outer orientation specified by the manufacturer. Film installation should be carried out at noon on a sunny, windless day. When installing the film, it should be pulled flat, stretched tight and pressed firmly to avoid wrinkles that affect the anti-drip effect. Longitudinal frame materials must not come into contact with the film, and special plastic film-pressing wires should be used. In addition, weather-resistant functional film has a long effective service life, so it is not advisable to use the method of upper and lower bamboo poles plus wire penetrating the film for tying and fixing; instead, film-pressing wires should be used for fixation.
2. Treatment of cracks, accumulated rain (snow) and dust: If cracks appear during the use of the film, they should be repaired promptly to avoid wind damage. During the use of weather-resistant functional film, attention should be paid to wiping and cleaning it. To protect the film, rainwater pockets and accumulated snow should be removed promptly.
3. Design of the greenhouse structure: Only when anti-fog drip film is at a certain angle and there are no obstacles can water droplets flow smoothly down along the film surface instead of dripping onto the crops. The height-to-span ratio of greenhouses and solar greenhouses should be reasonably increased, the spacing between arch rods should be appropriately reduced, and a certain distance should be kept between the guy cables and the film to ensure smooth flow of droplets.
4. Surface treatment of frame materials: The surface of the greenhouse frame should be smoothed. Steel frames should be treated for rust prevention.
5. Pesticide application technique: When using pesticides containing sulfur and iron, care should be taken not to spray them on the film surface, so as not to affect its service life.
6. Treatment of old film: After continuous coverage for one year, weather-resistant functional film has relatively poor performance and should be removed from large greenhouses and solar greenhouses to cover medium and small greenhouses. After covering one crop in a small greenhouse, it can generally still be used for ground coverage of overwintering vegetables such as spinach. For waste greenhouse film that can no longer be used, it should be centrally delivered to waste collection stations or relevant enterprises for recycling, to prevent white pollution.
