Which pesticides are prohibited for vegetables? Please introduce the pesticides prohibited for vegetables (including highly toxic pesticides or mixtures containing highly toxic pesticides): methamidophos, acephate, carbofuran, 3911, 1605, suhua 203, methyl 1605, 1059, dimehypo, monocrotophos, phosphamidon, isophosphamide, trithion, omethoate, zinc phosphide, cyan...
What are the common mistakes in pesticide use? How to apply them correctly? Please advise.

The following are common mistakes in pesticide application:
Using highly toxic pesticides for low-volume spraying
Because when highly toxic pesticides are used for ultra-low-volume spraying, the spray liquid concentration must be higher than conventional application to maintain efficacy. Low-volume spraying is limited to pesticides with lower toxicity, such as malathion, fenitrothion, dimethoate and pyrethroid pesticides, and requires that operators must always walk in the pesticide-free rows on the windward side. Highly toxic pesticides such as 1605 and methamidophos are strictly prohibited for ultra-low-volume spraying to avoid occupational poisoning.
Soaking granular pesticides in water for spraying
The specifications and composition of granular pesticides are mostly developed and produced according to the biological characteristics of their target pests and protected crops and the environmental conditions of the application site, so they have strong specificity, special efficacy and targeted delivery. They are currently mainly used for ground and underground application. For controlling weeds or pests, soaking in water for spraying is strictly prohibited. In addition, the technical material of granular pesticides mostly belongs to highly toxic pesticides; after granulation, the toxicity is reduced, which can increase safety during use. Soaking in water for spraying will restore their toxicity, and it is easy to cause poisoning of applicators during use.
Using wettable powder pesticides for dusting
Wettable powder is a powdery substance made by adding a certain amount of wetting agent and filler to the technical material, then mechanically grinding or air classifying. Compared with ordinary dusts, it has a higher content of active ingredients and poorer flowability. Therefore, it can only be used after dissolving in water to prepare a suspension, and cannot be directly sprayed as a dust.
Applying pesticides in high temperature, strong wind, or rainy weather
Generally, the suitable temperature for pesticide spraying is 20°C~30°C. If the temperature is too high, the pesticide is prone to volatilization and decomposition, affecting the control effect and easily causing poisoning of applicators. When applying pesticides in windy weather, the pesticide easily drifts with the wind and is difficult to reach the target parts, not only failing to achieve the desired effect but also seriously polluting the environment. Therefore, it is stipulated that when dusting, the wind speed should not exceed 1 m/s. In addition, most pesticides are not resistant to rain washing. Spraying in rainy weather makes them easy to wash away, making it difficult to achieve the expected effect and causing environmental pollution.
Using well water to dilute emulsifiable and suspension pesticides
Well water contains a large amount of calcium and magnesium substances. Diluting with well water will destroy the emulsifying and suspending properties of the pesticide, reducing or even completely losing its efficacy, not only affecting the control effect but also easily causing phytotoxicity.
Arbitrarily expanding the scope of pesticide use
This mainly refers to agricultural herbicides, such as: glyphosate, etc., which are mainly used for weed control in orchards, forest land and other gardens and nurseries. Due to differences in herbicide properties, they cannot be used for field crops; paraquat can be used for weed control in corn and mulberry fields, but a protective shield should be used together to prevent accidental spraying and phytotoxicity.
