Melon aphids cause great damage, how should they be controlled?

Melon aphids
Aphids are also called honey bugs. The aphid that harms melons is the melon aphid, namely the cotton aphid. Aphids mainly harm the leaves, tender buds and tender stems of melons. The control methods for aphids are as follows:
1. Promptly remove the residual branches and fallen leaves in the melon field, eradicate the weeds along the field edges, and eliminate the breeding grounds of aphids.
2. Use yellow aphid trap boards for trapping and killing. The method for making a yellow aphid trap board is to choose hard cardboard, fiberboard or plywood, then coat it with a layer of dark withered-yellow paint; after the paint dries, coat another layer of transparent No. 10 machine oil. Aphids like withered yellow most; when those winged aphids see the withered-yellow trap board, they all fly toward the trap board and then get stuck by the machine oil, achieving the purpose of trapping and killing. You can also hang silver-gray film in the field to drive away winged aphids and prevent them from landing and laying eggs.
3. Chemical control. You can use 20% Sumicidin or 2.5% Decis, 2.5% Kung Fu, 40% fenpropathrin-malathion emulsifiable concentrate and other 2000-3000 times solutions to spray on the undersides of leaves and tender stems and other parts where aphids like to gather.
