How to Apply Paraquat Herbicide Safely? Please Explain and Guide

Paraquat herbicide is a non-selective herbicide, generally used to eliminate annual weeds or perennial weeds. However, after paraquat comes into contact with soil, its activity decreases, so it cannot effectively eliminate the underground rhizomes of weeds. In recent years, farmers have used it more often to control weeds in corn fields, and there have also been cases of phytotoxicity caused by improper use. Therefore, the safe and effective use of paraquat herbicide is very important for crops, humans and livestock, and the safe and effective measures and methods of use must be kept firmly in mind during application.
       1. Paraquat has a very strong destructive effect on green tissue, so the solution should be sprayed as evenly as possible on the green stems and leaves of the weeds.
       2. Light can accelerate the efficacy of paraquat, so weed control results are very good in clear weather.
       3. In corn fields, it can be used for pre-planting treatment or pre-emergence post-planting treatment, and can also be used during the crop growing period with protective directed spraying to control weeds between rows. For pre-planting or pre-emergence post-planting treatment, use 75-200 ml of 20% aqueous solution per mu, mixed with 25 kg of water, and spray to control weeds that have already emerged. During the crop growing period, use 100-200 ml of 20% aqueous solution per mu, mixed with 25 kg of water, for protective directed spraying between rows. Do not allow the solution to drift onto corn or other crops.
       4. Paraquat is highly toxic to humans, so personal protective measures must be fully taken. &
