Edifenphos, also known as Kitazin, is a fungicide with protective and curative action. It is currently used mainly to control rice blast. Edifenphos also has good control effects against rice sheath blight, panicle blight, and northern and southern corn leaf blight. The formulation is a 40% emulsifiable concentrate.
The application techniques are as follows:
(1) Seed soaking: Before sowing rice, soak the seeds in a 1000-fold dilution of the 40% emulsifiable concentrate for 1 hour, which can effectively control the occurrence of rice seedling blast.
(2) Spraying: In the early stage of rice blast occurrence, spray a 1000-fold dilution of the 40% emulsifiable concentrate, spraying once every 10-14 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprayings. Spray 75-100 kg of spray solution per mu each time.
