What should be noted when drenching roots with fungicides? Please give an introduction
Drenching roots with fungicides is a simple and easy effective measure for controlling crop root diseases. But the following points should be carefully noted when drenching roots.
Drug selection should be reasonable: choose fungicides with strong specificity and high disease-control efficacy; do not use drugs blindly, minimize waste as much as possible, and prevent delays in control timing that reduce efficacy.
The concentration used should be appropriate: fungicides should as much as possible be applied mixed with amino acid liquid fertilizers or hormones that stimulate root development; the concentration of the liquid should preferably be no higher than a 1500-fold dilution, to prevent the soil water content (the soil moisture concentration around crop roots) from becoming too high. Within 7 days after drenching, do not irrigate heavily in the greenhouse, otherwise the liquid concentration will be reduced and the fungicidal disease-prevention effect will be affected.
Soil organisms should also be taken into account: the selected fungicide must not, after being applied to the soil, destroy the biological community and ecological balance within the soil. For example, in greenhouses where bacterial fertilizer has already been used, try not to use fungicide root drenching to prevent disease. If crop disease begins to occur and shows a trend of rapid spread, that is another matter, that is, do not consider the bacterial fertilizer issue and immediately carry out root drenching to reduce losses.
Phytotoxicity remediation should be timely: if a phytotoxicity reaction occurs after root drenching, such as symptoms of plant wilting, yellowing, and stunted growth, remediation should be carried out promptly. Remediation measures: quickly water once with clean water to dilute the concentration of the liquid in the soil; promptly spray and simultaneously drench the roots with a rooting agent or Aiduoshou or Yunda 120, to alleviate phytotoxicity, prompt the root system to recover vitality as soon as possible, and let the plants return to normal growth.
