How is the low-hazard fungicide propamocarb applied? Please provide an introduction to the application methods
Reference application methods for the low-hazard fungicide propamocarb are as follows:
1. To control damping-off and rhizoctonia rot in cucurbit seedlings, use a 500-fold propamocarb solution, spraying at a rate of 0.75 kg of solution per sq m, spraying 1 to 2 times over the entire seedling-raising period.
2. To control cucurbit downy mildew and phytophthora blight at the early stage of onset, use a 600- to 1,000-fold propamocarb solution, once every 7 to 10 days, spraying 750 to 1,125 kg of solution per hectare, for a total of 3 to 4 sprays, which can basically suppress the occurrence and development of the disease and has a marked promoting effect on the growth of plants in the treated area.
3. Used for soil treatment and foliar spraying. For pre-sowing soil treatment, use a 400-600 fold solution of 72.2% Previcur SL; for seedbeds, drench with 2-3 [units] of solution per sq m; use a 600-800 fold solution of 72.2% Previcur SL, applied at the early stage of onset, spraying once every 7-10 days, for 2-3 consecutive times. When controlling phytophthora blight in green peppers, allow the sprayed solution to seep along the base of the stem into the soil around the roots as much as possible.
4. Dilute the 72.2% SL with water and spray. Use a 600-fold solution to control damping-off in solanaceous vegetable seedlings and downy mildew in lettuce and celtuce; use an 800-fold solution to control late blight and cottony leak in tomato, potato late blight, and downy mildew in vegetables such as cowpea, Chinese chives and Welsh onion. A 72.2% SL 800-fold solution can also be used to soak seeds for 30 minutes, then wash clean and sprout, to control cucumber phytophthora blight; soak seeds for 60 minutes to control pepper phytophthora blight.
