Can glyphosate be used to control weeds in corn fields? Please explain

Glyphosate should be used with caution for weed control in corn fields, for the following reasons:
First, users lack understanding of the properties of glyphosate and cannot clearly distinguish between systemic and contact pesticides. After glyphosate solution is absorbed by corn leaves, it will not only damage the leaves it touches, but the entire plant will be affected.

Second, users' spraying techniques are not standardized, and their awareness of protecting corn is poor. They believe that since there is a shield, it can be used with confidence and there is no need to specifically protect the corn. In addition, some shields are of poor quality and provide weak protection for corn, which is also an important cause of corn phytotoxicity.

Third, in the middle and late stages of corn growth, the weeds in the field have a larger leaf age, and some weeds grow relatively tall, so the spray nozzles must inevitably be raised to apply the pesticide, which increases the spray swath of the solution, making it easy for the lower corn leaves to receive the pesticide.

Fourth, after applying the pesticide in high-temperature weather, corn will absorb part of the solution evaporated by the high temperature, thereby being affected to a certain extent or suffering aggravated phytotoxicity.
