How to manage greenhouse grapes after harvest? Management quality determines yield

Post-harvest management determines yield. Post-harvest management of greenhouse grapes

Currently, greenhouse grapes have entered the late harvest stage, and some varieties have already been fully harvested. Post-harvest management directly determines the nutrient reserves of the grape plants, and also determines the yield and quality of grapes next year. Therefore, doing a good job of post-harvest management of greenhouse grapes is particularly important. It is recommended to do the following two things well:

Grapes

     1. Post-harvest pruning and fertilization. When buds sprout, reserve the buds emerging from the lower nodes of the fruiting mother vine as replacement shoots to cultivate, while the upper fruiting mother vine bears grapes; keep the replacement shoots. When pruning, remove the fruiting mother vines that have already borne grapes (remove the fruiting vines at the same time), then cultivate the replacement vines into the fruiting mother vines for the next year, cycling year by year. At the same time, in combination with pruning the branches and vines, apply soil fertilizer in a timely manner. Combined with watering, apply 300-500 kg of bio-organic fertilizer mixed with a small amount of 50 kg of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizer as a top dressing; at the same time, foliar spray 0.3% urea plus 0.3% monopotassium phosphate, spraying once every 7-10 days, for 4-5 consecutive times. This promotes aboveground and underground growth and nutrient balance, and completes the smooth transition from replacement shoots to fruiting mother vines.

     2. Pest and disease control. After grape harvest and pruning, promptly remove weeds, fallen leaves, diseased fruits, diseased clusters, etc. from the greenhouse to reduce the pest and disease base inside the greenhouse. In addition, after harvest, spray Bordeaux mixture once every 10-15 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprays, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of multiple diseases. Mid-to-late July to early August is the high-incidence period for grape downy mildew and powdery mildew. According to conditions inside the greenhouse, spray 40% phosethyl-Al manganese zinc at 700 times dilution or 70% thiophanate-methyl at 1000 times dilution 2-3 times for effective control.
