Dupont Kangkuan is a compound formulated from chlorantraniliprole and an organofluorine surfactant. "Its insecticidal mechanism is completely different from all previous insecticides: it activates the ryanodine receptors in the pest's muscles, causing unrestricted release of internal calcium ions, preventing muscle contraction, and thereby making the pest stop feeding rapidly, developing muscle paralysis, loss of activity, and paralysis, until it dies completely. From feeding to paralysis and cessation of damage, the pest needs only about 7 minutes.

Dupont Kangkuan is a slightly toxic pesticide; its toxicity to humans and other mammals is even lower than that of ordinary table salt, it is basically harmless to fish, shrimp and other aquatic organisms as well as bees and natural enemies of pests such as predatory mites, while its activity against Lepidoptera pests is 10 to 100 times that of other insecticides.

Pests that Dupont Kangkuan can control:
It can effectively control feeding and boring pests such as diamondback moth, tobacco cutworm, beet armyworm, imported cabbageworm, and bean pod borer, as well as tobacco whitefly and leafminers.
It can control stem borers, striped stem borer, yellow stem borer, large stem borer, rice leaf roller, and rice planthopper. But it is only suitable for use in seedling fields, or for the first use after transplanting rice seedlings. It is not suitable for later use.
It also has a very good effect on sugarcane borers, spotted stem borer, yellow borer, striped borer, and large borer.

Application methods for Dupont Kangkuan:
Because Dupont Kangkuan has strong penetrative ability, the agent can pass through the epidermal cell layer of the stem into the xylem, and thus be conducted along the xylem to other parts that have not been sprayed. Therefore, in field operations, misting or fine spraying gives better results; but when the temperature is high and field evaporation is large, the pesticide should be applied before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m., which not only reduces the amount of liquid used but also better increases the amount of liquid received by the crop and its penetration, helping to improve the control effect. For rice, using 10 milliliters per mu can maintain high efficacy for one month; for vegetables, using 5 milliliters of "Kangkuan" per 30 jin of water to control diamondback moth, tobacco cutworm, and beet armyworm can maintain high efficacy for more than half a month.

Precautions for using Dupont Kangkuan:
        1. To avoid the development of resistance to this pesticide, it is advisable to use it 2-3 times per crop season or per pest species, with each interval of more than 15 days.
        2. When this pesticide is registered in our country, there are also different formulations, contents, and applicable crops; users should choose the different contents of this pesticide for different crops.
