Zhongdiwang has compiled the product features, usage methods and precautions of emamectin benzoate, listed below for fellow gardeners' reference.

The insect-prevention principle of emamectin benzoate:
Emamectin benzoate is generally a white or light yellow crystalline powder, belonging to a new type of high-efficiency, broad-spectrum antibiotic insecticide and acaricide. Its insecticidal principle is that it affects the chloride ion channels of nerve membranes and the -aminobutyric acid receptors to take effect. Due to its unique mechanism of action, pests are not prone to developing resistance. Its action on pests is mainly stomach poisoning, with contact poisoning as well, and it can effectively penetrate into the epidermal tissues of crops, having a relatively long residual effect period.

Emamectin benzoate has good control efficacy against pests with piercing-sucking mouthparts and chewing mouthparts, and also has relatively high activity against mites, Coleoptera and Homoptera pests.

       Usage methods of emamectin benzoate:
       1. Control of cotton bollworm on cotton: use 10--15 ml of 2.2% emamectin benzoate microemulsion per mu, dilute with 50 kg of water and spray.
       2. Control methods for diamondback moth and beet armyworm on vegetables: use 10--15 ml of 2.2% emamectin benzoate microemulsion per mu, dilute with 40--50 kg of water and spray.
       3. Control methods for aphids on vegetables: use 8--12 ml of 2.2% emamectin benzoate microemulsion per mu, dilute with 40--50 kg of water and spray.
       4. Control methods for yellow flea beetles: use 15--20 ml of 2.2% emamectin benzoate microemulsion per mu, dilute with 40--50 kg of water and spray.

Precautions for the use of emamectin benzoate:
       1. It is sensitive to fish and aquatic organisms, so never apply it directly to water bodies. It is highly toxic to bees, so it should not be used during the flowering period of crops.
       2. If taken by mistake, induce vomiting and immediately send the person to hospital for diagnosis.
       3. Emamectin benzoate is a flammable product, so keep it away from fire sources during storage and transport, and store it in a ventilated, dry warehouse.
       4. Emamectin benzoate must be strictly protected from moisture and sunlight, and must not be stored together with food, seeds or feed.
