Chemical pesticide output all rose slightly in March 2015

This year is the year with the strictest enforcement in the pesticide market. Some time ago, due to the new environmental protection law proposed at the Two Sessions, the pesticide market remained in a sluggish state, but according to reports, in March 2015 China's chemical pesticide output still rose slightly.

In March 2015, China's total chemical pesticide output was 313,079.34 tons, up 0.04% from the same period in 2014. From January to March 2015, China produced a cumulative total of 890,565.3 tons of chemical pesticides, up 0.02% from the same period in 2014.

In March 2015, China's total herbicide output was 152,827.25 tons, an increase of 0.09% compared with the same period in 2014, accounting for 49% of all chemical pesticide output in the period. Total insecticide output was 42,356.88 tons, up 0.26% compared with the same period in 2014, accounting for 14% of all chemical pesticide output in the period. Total fungicide output was 17,261.61 tons, up 0.05% compared with the same period in 2014, accounting for 5% of all chemical pesticide output in the period.

From January to March 2015, total herbicide output was 474,399.3 tons, a slight increase of 0.1% compared with the same period in 2014, accounting for 53% of all chemical pesticide output in the period. Total insecticide output was 118,300.9 tons, down 0.3% compared with the same period in 2014, accounting for 13% of all chemical pesticide output in the period. Total fungicide output was 47,123.61 tons, up 0.05% compared with the same period in 2014, accounting for 6% of all chemical pesticide output in the period.

The provinces with the highest output in March 2015 were: Jiangsu 85,863.3 tons, Shandong 80,086.29 tons, Zhejiang 26,784.47 tons. The provinces with the highest output from January to March 2015 were Shandong 254,697.70 tons, Jiangsu 226,704.07 tons, Henan 69,139.30 tons.
