34 major crop full-process mechanization demonstration projects pass ministerial-level acceptance
Website news On August 26-27, 2015, the Agricultural Machinery Extension Station of the Ministry of Agriculture organized in Yinchuan City, Ningxia, the acceptance meeting for the 2014 major crop production full-process mechanization demonstration projects, conducting acceptance of 34 projects undertaken by 20 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and 1 separately planned city across the country, including 26 rice and corn production full-process mechanization creation projects and 8 rapeseed, sugarcane and cotton production mechanization technology demonstration projects. The acceptance committee unanimously agreed that the project counties had completed the contents and all indicators specified in the relevant projects, and agreed that all passed acceptance.

During the one-year project implementation, the project undertaking units focused on the six main stages of crop production: tillage and land preparation, planting, plant protection, harvesting, drying and straw treatment, carried out comparative trials, established the main promoted technology models and main promoted machine models and implements for each stage, and summarized and formed the full-process mechanization process routes, technical models, implement matching, operating procedures and operating mechanisms for major crop production in various localities, effectively promoting technological innovation and integrated matching for full-process mechanization of major crop production, and playing a demonstrative and driving role in raising the level of crop production mechanization.
The meeting exchanged views on measures to further advance the development of full-process mechanization of major crop production, observed on-site the construction of full-process mechanization of rice production and specialized agricultural machinery service organizations, and deployed the implementation and management of the 2015 major crop production full-process mechanization demonstration projects, requiring all localities to actively devote themselves to the action of advancing full-process mechanization of major crop production.
