Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture reported cases of suspected production and sale of fake and inferior veterinary drugs by Qingdao Nuodi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Qingdao Nuodi) and Jiangxi Hailian Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiangxi Hailian), among which the Jiangxi Hailian case was the first case in the country of adding clenbuterol to veterinary drugs, and the main criminal suspect was sentenced to life imprisonment in the first instance.
