According to statistics, as of March 10, various grain enterprises in 14 main producing areas of mid-to-late indica rice, including Hubei and Anhui, had purchased a cumulative total of 28.21 million tons of newly produced mid-to-late indica rice, a decrease of 1.52 million tons from the same period last year; various grain enterprises in 7 main producing areas of japonica rice, including Heilongjiang and Jilin, had purchased a cumulative total of 39.54 million tons of newly produced japonica rice, an increase of 6.98 million tons from the same period last year; various grain enterprises in 5 main producing areas of soybeans, including Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang, had purchased a cumulative total of 1.86 million tons of newly produced soybeans, a decrease of 3.12 million tons from the same period last year.
