Linze County in Zhangye puts a tight clamp on corn seed production bases
Just after New Year's Day, Linze County kept a firm grip on the supervision of corn seed production bases without letting up, further moved the supervision threshold forward, seized the golden period after the payment of corn seed production funds when seed companies contact and connect with bases, held a meeting on the management of corn seed production bases, and issued the "Open Letter to the Broad Masses of Farmers Throughout the County," effectively strengthening the supervision of corn seed production bases and standardizing base implementation practices from seven aspects: strict base supervision, strict enterprise access, strict base implementation, strict contract signing, strict seed payment settlement, strict self-discipline guarantees, and strict accountability. In the connection and implementation of bases, the principle of “six priorities” was fully implemented, effectively directing national-level corn seed production bases toward “three-strong” enterprises with strong economic strength, strong scientific and technological strength, and strong market development capability: giving priority to enterprises that build processing and production lines in Linze, giving priority to enterprises that obtain national-level corn seed production bases through land transfer, giving priority to enterprises that join the Linze corn seed e-commerce platform and settle accounts locally, giving priority to enterprises with good social reputation, timely payment of seed production funds, and high public satisfaction, and giving priority to enterprises registered in Linze that support local economic development and have established good relations, thereby forming a sound mechanism throughout the county of supporting the excellent and the strong and allowing both entry and exit, guiding the county's seed production bases to remain basically stable, further improving construction and management levels, making the industrial structure more optimized, and steadily enhancing the quality and efficiency of the seed production industry.
