Zhangye Gaotai County Launches Major Workplace Safety Inspection of Seed Enterprises
Recently, the county agricultural committee, in order to effectively carry out all aspects of workplace safety work at the end of the year and the beginning of the next, resolutely curb the occurrence of all types of accidents, and achieve a good start to next year's workplace safety work.
As the citywide, provincial, and national “Two Sessions” are about to be held in succession, a major clean-up inspection of hidden safety hazards was carried out at the county's 6 seed enterprises.
The inspection team carried out a careful inspection focusing on the following: whether enterprises have implemented the safety responsibility system, workplace safety management bodies, workplace safety management systems, and whether new, renovated, and expanded projects have fulfilled the workplace safety “three simultaneities” system; whether production sites have posted clear safety warning signs and labels; whether processing and production have clear operating procedures; whether hidden electrical safety hazards exist; whether firefighting facilities are present; whether workplace safety protection measures are in place; whether special-operation personnel and enterprise safety officers hold certificates to work; whether internal day-to-day workplace safety inspections are carried out regularly; and whether safety education and training for enterprise employees is conducted. This inspection adhered to the principle of rectifying while inspecting; for those that could be rectified on site, immediate rectification was required; for those that could not be rectified on site, rectification was required within a time limit. Unlicensed and illegal units found in the screening were all shut down, units with major hidden hazards were all ordered to suspend production for rectification, units that did not meet workplace safety conditions were all closed, and units that failed to implement the safety facilities “three simultaneities” system were all not allowed to go into production.
This inspection will play a positive role in promoting the workplace safety work of the county's seed enterprises to a higher level.
