Collected from the wild in 2003 in Huoshan County, Anhui Province, it is a multi-colored lotus-type fairy spring orchid (Cymbidium goeringii), with graceful foliage, an imposing flower form and a delicate fragrance. In spring 2014, it was exhibited at the 10th Anhui Province Orchid Expo and won a Silver Award, and was jointly named "Wanxi Spring Colors" by Lu Bin, president of the Huaibei City Orchid Association, and fellow orchid enthusiast Yao Chunchen, an Anhui-born reporter for China Central Television.
