Introduction to the Yellow Bekko Koi

Yellow Bekko, also called "Yellow Bekko" and belonging to the Bekko group, is a relatively ordinary koi variety. The body of the Yellow Bekko is made up of two colors, yellow and black, with yellow as the base color and black patches covering the yellow, giving the whole body a golden-black appearance that is easy to recognize and quite eye-catching.

The scales of the Yellow Bekko look very distinct, and this also affects the overall impression of the fish. These scales extend from the shoulder of the koi all the way to the front edge of the tail fin, with four or five rows of scales arranged in a staggered yet extremely neat pattern.

This slightly curved fish back (the degree of curvature varies with the fish's body shape) gives the Yellow Bekko its well-deserved characteristic: it covers the fish body like scale armor, with an imposing look. Yellow Bekko with this feature are relatively rare, because it requires the fish's black patches to fit exactly between the scales, and the depth and intensity of the color must also set off the yellow base beneath.

Appreciation of the Yellow Bekko Koi

The Yellow Bekko easily creates a visual illusion, and this color makes the fish body look longer than it actually is, and also more vigorous. It is very good to appropriately mix a few Yellow Bekko into a fish pond; it also carries the fine meaning of bringing in wealth and treasure, being both pleasing to the eye and satisfying people's expectations for good fortune.

In addition, judging from the swimming posture of the fish, the Yellow Bekko is also highly ornamental. This is mainly due to the color of the koi body and its body shape. A fish pond needs both relatively artistic koi varieties such as the calm, elegant and gentle Kohaku and Shiro Utsuri, and koi such as Showa Sanshoku and Bekko that look more speedy and give people a sense of power.
