Over 3,000 new Phalaenopsis varieties debut at the Guangdong Phalaenopsis Exhibition
Recently, the 2025 Guangdong Phalaenopsis New Variety Exhibition opened at Guangdong Wanqing Horticulture World. It is understood that the exhibition area is nearly 10,000 sq m, with more than 100 leading Phalaenopsis seed enterprises and related industry enterprises from around the world participating, among which the number of Phalaenopsis varieties on display reached more than 3,000.
As can be seen from the images exposed online, the exhibition site resembled a sea of flowers, with each booth displaying various Phalaenopsis varieties, including rose-red, white and yellow Phalaenopsis, bringing visitors a truly wonderful visual feast.
The new Phalaenopsis varieties unveiled at the exhibition included those from international brands such as Netherlands-based Anthura and Floricultura, as well as well-known domestic Phalaenopsis breeding enterprises such as Zhangzhou Jubao, Zhongshan Binfen, Guangzhou Shenghui, Guangcai Wuyang, Foshan Lujulong and Huale Seedlings.
Regarding this exhibition, Jin Hongyong, president of the Phalaenopsis Branch, said that the main purpose of holding this Phalaenopsis new variety exhibition was to build an open, inclusive and shared exchange platform for breeding enterprises, growing enterprises and Phalaenopsis enthusiasts from all over the country, and to promote collaborative innovation and common progress in the Phalaenopsis industry.
Participating in this Phalaenopsis exhibition, the relevant staff said that the main purpose of attending the exhibition was to enable Phalaenopsis enterprises to more conveniently and more closely view the new Phalaenopsis varieties currently launched in China and the varieties currently being sold on the market, and also hoped to enable more growers to gain a deeper understanding of the development trends of Phalaenopsis.
