Recently, the Hsu Fu Chi factory located on Shichang Road, Dongcheng Street, Dongguan has gone viral. The reason for its fame is a 5-kilometer-long bougainvillea flower sea outside the factory wall. Right now, it is bougainvillea blooming season, attracting many tourists to come and take photos.

Some netizens also commented on social media that they went at 3 p.m. and it was so crowded that basically every photo spot required queuing. From the pictures they posted, it can be seen that many tourists taking photos were standing along the entire road.
It is understood that every spring, the bougainvillea outside the Dongguan Hsu Fu Chi factory enters its blooming period, and at a glance it looks like a sea of flowers, attracting a great many tourists to come and take photos, making it an "internet-famous photo spot" in the Dongguan area. After all, with a bougainvillea flower wall as the background, a casual snap is a masterpiece, and the visual effect it brings is simply too beautiful.
Of course, many netizens are very interested in this flower sea and curious about its origin. According to official staff, this is mainly due to a special connection between Hsu Fu Chi and bougainvillea.
Back when Hsu Fu Chi founder Xu Cheng came to Dongguan to rent land and set up the factory, after the factory construction was completed, a contractor in charge of the construction specially brought two potted bougainvillea bonsai as congratulations. Xu Cheng liked them very much and transplanted them into the ground. Unexpectedly, these bougainvilleas grew more and more, and business was booming. The founder felt that the thriving red color was a good omen, so along with the construction of each new Hsu Fu Chi factory area, bougainvillea planting also spread from the first generation to the fourth and fifth generations, planted throughout the Hsu Fu Chi factory area, becoming the bougainvillea scenery line that everyone sees today.
Of course, bougainvillea itself is a relatively easy-to-grow flowering plant; give it some sunlight and it can grow lushly, give it a wall and it will spread wildly to every position. This is also why in spring we often see bougainvillea blooming at the corners of many alleys and beside pedestrian walkways. With its unique form and rich colors, it attracts the attention of many passersby.
