Orchid winter fertilization management methods and fertilizer selection
For chemical fertilizers, try to buy specialized flower fertilizers. When fertilizing, pay attention to the balance of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, and strictly control the concentration. To improve the ornamental appearance, the nitrogen content can be appropriately reduced, but if you want large orchid flowers, you can increase the nitrogen content; however, you cannot have both leaves and flowers at the same time. How to fertilize orchids: apply frequently and lightly, eat small meals more often. No plant can be fully fed all at once, and orchids are the same. For vigorously growing plants, apply a dilute liquid fertilizer once every 10-15 days. For thin and weak growth, the fertilization interval can be appropriately shortened, but light fertilizer must still be maintained. Spraying foliar fertilizer: Foliar spraying can not only supplement the orchid plant's nutrition through absorption by the orchid leaves, but also avoid fertilizer touching the roots and causing fertilizer damage. For orchids, it is one of the best fertilization methods. As long as during the growth and development period, foliar spraying is carried out once about every 10 days, orchids can be grown well without the need to fertilize in the pot.
